nero cannot erase dvd+rw

CD and DVD Writers Discuss, nero cannot erase dvd+rw at Computer Hardware forum; When i first got the burner 1 week ago, it was working fine, until today, I try to erase a compusa brand disk with DVD X copy xpress movie on top, it just lock up my pc, and the during the whole process, the light did not even blink. When i first got the burner 1 week ago, it was working fine, until today, I try to erase a compusa brand disk with DVD X copy xpress movie on top, it just lock up my pc, and the during the whole process, the light did not even blink. So I try again at PIO4 mode and it all work fine. When I switch to recordnow DX, it will erase the disk at UDMA2, already try to install the newest version of nero, should I blame it to the software.
