| my own comp. power mac g5 dual 2.5..sony dw-u21a..use OS 10.4.11.. toast titanium 9.0.4.... if i burn cd data or cd audio its no problem..but dvd.."don't complete last comand mac os error..result=-50.." |
| Thanks. What brand of discs are you using, what speed does it say on the pack, and what speed are you burning at?

| OK, since that burner only supports DVD-R at up to 8x, have you looked for the latest firmware update? Also, using some other media, such as Verbatim or Sony may be a good idea (as their 16x discs may be supported in the burner's firmware at 8x). Or, a better idea would be to switch to using DVD+R, as the burner supports these at the full 16x - as I just suggested, try some Verbatim or Sony.

| Try switching to Sony or Verbatim DVD+R first, and see if that solves your problem If you still can't burn after changing your media, then we can look for a firmware update.
