Generally, all DVD drives with a groove for 8cm discs are compatible with mini-CDs and mini-DVDs. These discs also work in slimline drives (e.g. in laptops) where the disc is clipped on the spindle. However, these discs must not be loaded in slot loading drives, i.e. where the disc is pushed into a slot and the drive pulls it in.

Would this disc have been recorded by packet writing software or something else that has left its sesson "open"? For example, if the files were recorded to the disc by DirectCD, a close operation would need to be performed before the disc can be loaded in another PC.
