Hi.

I have the matshita uj-830s and i can't find one new firmware wherever i look.
Can anyone tell me please where i can find any new firmware for that laptop dvdrw i have in my toshiba satellite a80-129.
p.s. in the toshiba sites it has one firmware update for that drive but when i try to update the firmware it bring me the messages "the drive is not connected" but the drive IS connected and write/read the disc normally.

Hi friends! I got a sony vaio VGN-FS550F laptop included Matshita UJ-831 Da. It was really cool, to run and watch DVDs or hear CDs and even burn them, but I've tried to download a free program (DVD43) and suddenly the device doesn't want to burn nothing at all. Could anyone help me please to know how I can fix the problem? Thanks at advance.

I doubt DVD43 can be the issue for this, because DVD43 is useless to Matshita rpc2.

Just uninstall it from the system...software uninstall or similar.
