LTN483S Slow Burning with EAC

I like to use EAC in secure mode, had excellent results on my LTR48246S with Taiyo media. My first extraction on the LTN483s went awfully slow, averaged 2.4x, same disc extracted at 8x with LTR48246s. |
| I hooked up this old drive I had laying around to increase my backup output. I like to use EAC in secure mode, had excellent results on my LTR48246S with Taiyo media. My first extraction on the LTN483s went awfully slow, averaged 2.4x, same disc extracted at 8x with LTR48246s. Was this because of the fact that the LTN483s does not support C2 error correction so EAC has to work harder? Is that the key, to find a drive with this feature? |
