OK, there's bad news and good news ...

The bad news is that there doesn't seem to be any firmware update out for this particular OEM firmware ...

The good news is that the TS-L632H is an OEM version of the SN-S082H retail drive, and as such you can crossflash your drive to the real thing, and make it RPC1 in the process You won't be able to go back to the original TS-L632H firmware though, since there is none available and there's no way to dump the existing firmware from Samsung drives.

If you want to go ahead with the crossflash, this is what you need to do:

1. Go to Samsung and download the SN-S082H SB01 firmware: http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/Firmwa...FWDownload.asp
2. Download the Samsung stand alone flasher: http://www.samsungodd.com/KorLib/File/tsdnwin.exe
3. Download ala42's MCSE: http://ala42.cdfreaks.com/MCSE/
4. Extract the SN-S082H_SB01.bin firmware file from the Samsung flasher you downloaded by using WinRar/WinZip
5. Load the SN-S082H_SB01.bin file in MCSE, click the RPC1 box and save it as SN-S082H_SB01_speedpatched.bin
6. Start the tsdnwin.exe flasher from a command line with the -nocheck parameter: tsdnwin -nocheck
7. Once the flasher opens, load the speedpached firmware in it and then flash your drive.
8. Reboot when asked and enjoy your new RPC1 drive!

The SN-S082H firmwares are a bit old though, so you could use the same method to crossflash your drive to a DELL OEM TS-L632H firmware such as D700 or DW30 which are both about a year and a half newer. DW30 is the newest (released 24-11-2009). You can find these firmwares here: http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L632H/files.html

You need to start the tsdnwin.exe flasher from a command line/prompt with the -nocheck parameter, otherwise the flasher will refuse to flash any other firmware than a TMCx one.

You can do that either from a command prompt window or by using the Run... option in the start menu.

Assuming that the tsdnwin.exe file is saved directly on your C:\ drive, this is what you should do/see depending on which of the two methods you want to use: (notice the NOCHECK text appearing in the flasher window - unless you see that, crossflashing won't work):

Open the SN-S082H_SB01.exe firmware file you downloaded in WinRar or WinZip or 7-Zip (freeware) and inside you'll find the necessary Bin file. Extract it, patch it with MCSE if you want RPC1 and then use it to flash your drive with tsdnwin using the -nocheck parameter following the instructions provided before.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say ... did you already crossflashed your drive to an SN-S082H and now you can't burn DVD-R discs? If this is the case, did your drive work OK before the crossflash? What is the brand and the media ID of the discs you're using? What sort of error do you get? What burning software are you using? Does the drive work with DVD+R discs? We need more details in order to understand what's going on ...

That's very poor quality media ... I'm not surprised that you've got burning problems with it ... you should be using better quality and more reliable media really ... Princo media is amongst the worse media available ...
