| Definitely LG GWA-4040N or any other LG's slim drive. I have a personal experiences with all three brands - Toshiba was a pure crap (I cannot remember which type my father owned, it was returned after a few days), Matsushita is a very mediocre drive (quite incompatible with many DVD+-Rs, but good in reading damaged DVDs, at least in my experience), LGs are a decent drives.

| hi guys. alright, I'll take away my fingers from panasonic drives. LG has got 2 slim-drives in its offer: - LG GWA-4040N - LG GMA-4082N 1) I can't find any differences between those 2 drives. Do you? 2) Does anybody know if one of them or both fit into a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook E-7110? 3) Do you know some alternatives next to the LG drives?? Hey guys, where are you from? | I am satisfied with my LG GSA-T20N slim drive - it's a bit noisy but certainly better than any other slim drives I have used (Toshiba/Samsung & QSI - extremely unreliable in about everything, OptiArc - very bad in reading, Matsushita - bad burner)
