Cant recognise disks on HP DVD Writer 940d USB Device + Daemon Tools mounts

Hi, ive got VISTA ULTIMATE and have tried to install winXP as duel boot but had loads of trouble, so i deleted the XP and updated VISTA as it wouldnt work properly,
Anyway after all that daemon tools wouldnt work so i deleted it and installed it again, it installed fine but now none of my CD/DVD drives wont recognise disks, when i try to run a CD/ DVD it says "Windows cannot access this disk and needs formatting ect.." Also my daemon tools wont mount and run images.
My CD/DVD Writer is a HP DVD Writer 940d USB Device which recognises fine in device manager.
I dont know if this is any revelence but in network adapters in device manager theres new stuff ive NEVER seen before called "isatap.home" and "Teredo tunneling Pseudo-Interface"
PLEASE HELP ME, i think it could be something to do with daemon tools and that STPD.
AGAIN PLEASE PUT ME OUT OF MY MISSERY, YOU NEVER KNOW THERE MIGHT BE A PRIZE FOR WHOEVER SUSSES IT OUT FIRST.

P.S Ive got fully authenticated versions of VISTA ULTIMATE (NOT CRACKED) VALIDATES ON THE MICROSOFT WEB SITE FOR SALE, VISIO PRO ect...
