can you recommend a DVD burner?

CD, DVD and Blu-ray Writers Discuss, can you recommend a DVD burner? at Hardware forum; I need a burner which burns good DVD and quiet as a reader during the play of movies and cds. Most of DVD burner seems too noisy during play. Thanks for your help! Dan

    Tks, I heard BenQ is also quiet during the reading. Is that right?
    I am so disappointed by NEC drive. It is extremely loud although it gives
    a good burn. People saying NEC is a quiet drive totally clueless!

    Not sure about how quiet the BenQs are, although I've heard lots of good stuff about them.
