| Can someone hack a blu-ray player?? I heard blu-ray players can connect to internet. Can some hackers hack a blu-ray player from the internet and show something bad on my TV? |

That said unless it's someone you know wanting to get back at you or play a joke on you it's like 10 milllion to 1 chance that someone would hit your connection and want to see what it leads to. | Re: Can someone hack a blu-ray player?? As soon as you load a BD-Live disc, it opens a port to the net and keeps it open. So in theory it could create a security issue for everything that's on your network. That's in theory. I don't think anyone has yet done any real research into these things.
