Buying DVD burner

| Hello ! I´m a real neewbie about all this DVD so all help would be nice. I´m thinking of buying a NEC ND-1100 as it can handle all the formats, as I understand it. But of course I want to copy films and make backups and restore old VHS tapes to DVD´s. So my questions are, Is this a good DVD burner and what formats ( +rw, +r and all the other formats ) do I need to copy films and backup old VHS. Regards Lunda |

| ND-1100 is only dvd+ If you want dvd±, you need a ND-1300
