| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide Yea, that's not going to work I don't think. You'd have to use a fat32 drive which limits you to 4 gig files. Some day if Linux ever gets decent HD support, it might be possible to play in Linux on the PS3. Imagine doing HD DVD on a PS3. ![]() EDIT: Hmm, wait, does it allow playback of a streamed m2ts? |

Yeah just drag .evo from HD DVD movies to tsremux and make a blu-ray/m2ts and PS3 will playback the movie, but no audio lol. Yeah I know blu-ray does not recognize Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) from HD DVD format so we will need to convert DD+ to DD using eac3to. I haven't any time to do that part.

(I SO love their Buy One Get One free deals...I bought Xmas presents for the parents and got myself a bunch of movies for free. LOL)Quote:
That's hilarious that it works. Wouldn't you need to recombine the new audio with the .evo somehow before dragging it over to tsremux? I'm not sure I know how to do that part.

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide I am trying to back up Ratatouille and the problem is there is 203 m2ts files. The movie is split up into chapters I think, there is a whole bunch of extras on the disk too. Also, 00005,00006,00007 are the same as well as other ones. I think this will be a headache to convert if there is no script to merge them together somehow and then there is also the problem with duplicate movie scenes. |

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide There was a post on doom9 that had the order but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. I don 't have the order anymore, either. I had once copied it to a text file but I seem to have lost it. Try googling for it. Someone has to have it somewhere. |

Do the remux in tsremux TWICE since the time stamp on first remux will not be correct (if you burn and playback, your player will indicate that the entire movie is only 5 mins, and some player cannot fast forward if this is the case). The second remux will correct this.

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide That's the information that I was looking for on Doom9. It came from someone on yet another forum, the name of which escapes me at the moment. But all that's doing is a binary combine of the files. Those who rip ISO's of Blu-ray movies on their PS3 to a fat32 formatted external drive do the same thing to recombine the original ISO. |

) after the binary copy I have tryed to us Tsremux but it doesn't work. TsRemux said there is error and I have read on the web that is for the presence of Lossless PCM Audio Stream that cannot be remuxed. So have you faced with this problem? and you konw how to solve? and If I do not select the Lossless PCM Audio Stream and remux without this part, could the movie work fine? Thanks in advance

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide You can try the other streams. I installed cccp codec pack before I encoded anything, don't know if that helps somehow. I didn't do anything special to use the pcm audio stream.

And just fyi, the new TsRemux v0.0.20 now supports subtitle! In TsRemux, subtitles are listed as "Presentation Graphics Stream." But the bad thing is, TsRemux doesn't show which language it is. I made a blu-ray with one subtitle (choose the 1st Presentation Graphic thinking that must be English) the other day it works great but when playback it's not English! Got to remake again, kind of pain.

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide Hi people. This is my first post on this forum so i hope this is in the right spot. I have followed your guide blu-ray to dvd and all has gone fine until playback. The video and audio play fine but there is a HUGE green bar at the bottom and it only displays the film in 480p ![]() When this file is converted it ends up to big so i have stripped the AAC audio and replaced with AC3. What am i doing wrong ive tried everything (i think) and just ended up with about 10 coasters. The original file is 1280 x 528. |

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide Great post and easy to follow instructions! I did run into a problem though. Configuration:
I created image file with Imgburn first, then as a seperate step burned the disc. Imgburn set disc to DVD-ROM. the DVD playback on the computer is good. On playback on the PS3, the video stutters every few seconds - image freezes, then some moderate to severe pixelation as the image catches up. Watched for about 5 minutes and this is consistent. Audio flows smoothly with no issues. Any ideas? Thanks, Z |

| Re: BD2DVD: Blu-ray to DVD guide Hi I´m new here, I have a question: How can I find out which M2TS File on the BR (Simpsons in my Case for testing) belongs to the mainmovie? How can I get them to one M2TS-Stream so that I can work with it in TSRemux?! I only want to spilt out the mainmovie with some AudioStrems und Remux it directly to BR. Thanks Michael |
