| I think what helped out the most was reading the CD with the writer....I used discdump with both my CDRW and DVDROM, both iso's had the same size but i ran and MD5 checksum of both ISO's and came out with different results...aswell as the log file from discdump showed errors in the Liteon but not the DVDROM so I opted to use the iso from the LiteOn since it saw the errors of safedisc....instead of the iso from the dvdrom. I think nero is blameless on this one and you just have to look at the log file and make sure it HAS errors.

| I agree Cyn. I think the Liteon writer created a more exact image. It also took longer to create. I didn't change any settings in Nero, so I can't put the blame for creating coasters there. Just out of curiosity, I made a new image using Discdump with the safedisc settings and it seems to be working fine as well. I'm sure the problem was the fact that I used the DVD as a reader. |
