Should I downgrade Nero?

Burning Software Discuss, Should I downgrade Nero? at Software forum; I got Nero 5.5.9.9 OEM with a new LG GCE-8481b writer, but I'm using a newer one Is there any reason for downgrading to the OEM version? (P.S. Current Nero doesn't show a buffer underrun counter at the end of the burn process, I don't know whether the drive supports

    I dont speak german so I couldn`t read what burn counter is ...
    At the english page , there is no burn counter.
    Could someone explain me what it is ?

    There are some drives (mostly based on Sanyo chipsets) that can count the number of times that BurnProof was activated during the burn. It's useful to know if your system is too slow for the given burning speed... but it's enough to check the levels of the writer buffer... the burn will stop for a while if the level is too low.
