You may be using a non-compatible burner. This is still not a problem....you can burn cd-g by using the information at the following links.
To burn without a compatible burner
http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/h...ibleburner.htm
To convert cd-g to VCD
http://www.karaokeplayground.co.uk/h...d/cdgtovcd.htm
Hope this helps,
Ed

Dear EDWW30,
thank you so much. I'll try and make you know as soon as checked.
I believe, anyway, that my burner is compatible, because it's stated by clonecd site and because i have already burned almost everything successfully.
Thanks so much, by the way.
Anyway, if you or somebody else are already personally experienced in burning cd+g, please tell me how did you do, assuming my burner is compatible.
Thanks again.

You're welcome MikeAlfa,
I have a LitOn 40/12/48 OC'd to 48/12/48. The Clonecd site says that my burner is compatible for CD-G also, however, it is not. I have burned about 20 cd's with the method that are on the links that I have provided and it works great. I have also used the VCD method with excellent results. I use the VCD for parties, etc. and they play on most DVD players.
Good luck and have fun

I have tried and tried for months to do this. I bought a Sony CD-R/RW CRX220A1. I downloaded cd clone. if you want to only make a 1:1 copy, THESE TWO WORK.
Open it up, choose copy, choose cd burner (sony), leave everything as is, choose multimedia, copy. take cd out, put new one in, burn. ta da, there is your perfect copy!!!!!!!!!
My Hp showed up as compatible but i could not get it to work with anything. My husband sat there and we were stunned. It worked. 22 times. each cd worked in BOTH my karaoke machines. looked and sounded like the originals. Will this help U!!!!

This may be a dumb question...but where excatly do I go to check my drive compatability with clonecd? I have searched, but can't seem to find exactly where I should go. I have a LG GSA-4040B DVD-burner.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to make backup copies of my daughter's karaoke CD's (I guess that would be CD+G's, I think...disks that have the music, and graphics that include song words that scroll on the screen and may include other graphics as well)...she is way too hard on them, and they are way too expensive to have to keep replacing. She uses them in a standalone karaoke machine (that can you hook up to a TV), not on the computer nor in a DVD player that plays karaoke CD's. I'm not sure how I would copy them to be exact duplicates that would play specifically on a standalone karaoke machine, so that she can use them exactly like the originals (and then I can file the originals away for safekeeping). I'm not sure what medium they should be copied onto (DVD-R or CD-R)? I'm not sure what program to use to copy them either...is there program(s) specific to this or should a general copying program (ie Nero, EasyCD, etc.) work?
Please help if you can.
