Midnight Club 2

Hi.... I am as new as a newbie gets here! But, I don't think that would stop anyone from trying to help me out I recently bought Midnight Club 2 (awesome game!) and want to preserve the original CD's. I have tried CloneCD and Nero without success. I have one CD-R and no DVD drives. The CD-R is a Lite-On LTR-16102B 0GS4. I would appreciate any advice/suggestions anyone may have to offer. Thanks... AJ

Is there anything in the FAQ that you're unsure of?

@FutureProof
Hey FP, got a suggestion, why not include a few links to some of the game protection lists collected here at CD Freaks in the FAQ. Not everyone likes to download protection scanners. Some are even paranoid about virus'. Also there are a few of these protection scanner software out there circulating, and its just annoying, esp for the dial ups. And getting updates to them...etc.... Its much easier to load a text based web page and just find your game and what protection it uses.

This would also help new users such as Angelo_joe to already know what protection scheme they are dealing with and can take further self steps to attempt reaching a solution. Hopefully it can also remedy repeated threads with same questions.

@Angelo_joe
Use a scanner or look up by using search to see what protection the game uses. If its securom, read philambers thread here:
http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....threadid=64732
If its safedisc, look to see if youhave a 2 sheep burner here:
http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html
If any other protection found post back and someone will eventually give you advice.
