Merge/Join 2 AVI files using ConvertToXDvd

Hi,

I recently bought the ConvertToXDvd (2.2.3.258) Software frm VSO. Can anyone tell me how to merge/join AVI files using ConvertToXDvd. I know it states in the product description that it can merge up to 4 hours but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it.

I have movies that came with 2 AVI files, but after adding the 2 avi files in ConvertxToDvd to be merged and burned in a DVD, the DVD movies has 2 menus and 2 titles. I don't want that, I just want one video movie ?

Can someone resolve this issue.

You would need to use some other tool to join the files first before using ConvertX to convert.

Not to step on toes here but i use WinAvi for the other tool. It has a trial but like ConvertX is adds a watermark to the vid.

If i did step on toes then delete it.

VirtualDub is good for joining AVI files. Look on www.videohelp.com for the software & guides.

Convertxtodvd works fine for merging two titles together, Just add the first title and then right click on it and select merge more files then select the icon at the right hand side of the title and add the next titleset you want to merge i know it works because i'm doing one right now

I'm sure that Convertxtodvd has made some upgrades since 2007.
@ ScottTaylor , Is the output a single .avi file ?
Or is it DVD compliant folders & files ? Maybe with a single menu .

There is a freeware program called Freemake Video Converter which can do this easily. Join the two files into one for dropping into ConvertX to burn to a dvd.

ImgBurn don't let you create a menu.

ImgBurn is more for burning .iso files IMO.

If you have two .avi files, ConvertX will convert them to .vob, which will then play like any regular DVD in a standalone player.
