Re: Loading Alcohol Device Drivers Failed

does this help

1.run "regedit"
2.Find
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{E9F81423-211E-46B6-9AE0-38568BC5CF6F}", then delete that.
3.Find
"HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\32418F9EE1126B64A90E8365B85CFCF6",
then delete that.
4.After you delete these value´s, Alcohol 120% is removed from you OS

Go to control panels/system/hardware/device manager, find under "SCSI and RAID controllers" the AXV SCSI controller, and remove it.
Also remove Plug and Play Bios Extension from System Devices.

start regedit.exe then go to HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services here you should fínd the Keys for the Alcohol Driver in the current version (1.9.2.1705) a347bus and a347scsi, delete these Keys and remove corresponding files from Windows\System32\Drivers folder.

Reboot.

then try again in expert mode

Re: Loading Alcohol Device Drivers Failed

i'm having the same problems
i am using alcohol 120% v 1.9.5 build 3105 retail
i have tried all that you mentioned and more
e.g. i totally cleaned out the registry of alcohol(manually searched and deleted all alcohol that i could find, deleted devices drivers, which i had renamed during the installation anyway, and also uninstalled the cloneCD and nero installation i had)
I must add that i have been using alcohol for quite some time(ever since v1.4). never given me any probs until now.
I use alcohol a lot so if someone could please help me i would be very grateful
thanx in advance.

ps: i'm using XP SP2

its simple though
i had installed bitdefender recently
and thats what was causing all the trouble
compatiblity issues i guess
disabled it from msconfig
and voila....alcohol works with bitdefender "off"

I was having great difficulties getting alcohol to run on my Win 7 pc.
I tried all of the suggestions here but could get none of them to work.

Try getting it from here
