Installing a 'fake' burner in Windows

I want to install a 'fake' burner in Windows: There are some programs, which have an inbuilt burning engine. That engine can only burn to CD/DVD burners and can't create ISO's. So I have to burn to see what CD the program (for example Picasa) has made.
I was wondering if a program exists, that emulates a burner and thus creates an ISO image if that burner is selected.
Hopefully someone knows the answer.

I guess the 'virtual burner' of Virtual CD 8 meets your need
