Hi,

I have installed the latest version of eac on my pc. Previously I used nero to copy cd's.

I have a large wav file on my pc, which is about 60mins long.

When I burn this track to cd with nero I sometimes get glitches in the cd.

I always set the speeds on nero to 4X, and run no other applications whilst the cd is burning.

I have defragmented my hard drive to make sure everything is in place.

I decided to try eac.

I have installed the program, and it has recognised both of my drives, I have a creative 48x read only drive, and an acer 20X10X40 cdrw drive.

Both drives were autoconfigured and were recognised to have no c2 capability and no caching (as far as the program can tell).

The program can access each drive and display TOC etc
and medium info in both drives

The machine itself is a pentium 400mhz, which is soon to be upgraded, at the moment I am running windows 98 and have 196mb of ram. Although slow I thought this machine should still be adequate for just burning cds etc.

I have tried eac, and although it recognises both drives and when I try to copy the master cd of the wav track I get the error message "file creation error".
The cd is recorded in one single long track.

I have cchecked the recording using the test function of eac and it checks out ok.

Does anyone have a clue at to what the problem could be (why I'm getting the error message 'file creation error' when I try to burn a copy)?

Thanks
Raja
