My friend has CloneCD 4.0.0.1 Unregistered and an HP IDE 4x4x24. He tried copying this Audio CD which has no Audio protection with CloneCD with no read errors or anything and when he tries playing it the sound is like staticy and lower sound then normal. He then copied it with a crapier progrom(Cd copier Deluxe) and it worked fine. Anyone know whats wrong. He doesn't always want to use Cd copier deluxe either.
Thanks.

read not faster then 8.....as said above..........select "best" for quality...
if you want good quality for audio...use low read/burn speeds.
I always read at 2x...and burn at max 4. -

... if you are not sure if you have a good quality drive which is good in DAE. With Plextor you don't have to use the 8speed limit! Little-endian proved this with one of his nice experiments.Quote:Originally posted by FutureProof

I know, just stating that when you a have a good quality drive like Plextor you don't need to lower down your readingspeed... (which in effect means: get rid of the HP and get a Plextor drive!Quote:Originally posted by FutureProof
