CD Freaks Presents: CheetahDVDBurner

Burning Software Discuss, CD Freaks Presents: CheetahDVDBurner at Software forum; Did you happen to check "finalize disk" under the options before burning? My first burn with the software showed a good burn but the disk would not read in anything other than the burner that burned it. I checked the options and found that by default Cheetah DOES NOT finalize

I checked the options and found that by default Cheetah DOES NOT finalize a disk unless you check "finalize" under the options. once I did that I had no problems.

Thanks for your input! I will check and then try again if that is the case.

Well this thing is fast. It copied a full 4.3GB movie which is on the hard drive in about 4:45 which is as fast as most other software I use, but the resulting disc still will not play in my Sony or my Toshiba...

P.S. you were correct about the finalizing not being checked by default so I made sure it was before this last attempt.

I had not tried burning a movie with ti since I use CloneDVD2 for that. my burning with it has been data backups. Next movie I backup I will try using Cheetah and see what happens.

I think That CHEETAH DVD Copy can not compress the file to put it in DVD5 if it was original or decrypted movie DVD (DVD5 was like regular DVD like DVD+R or DVD-R) and i tried already. It won't work even you have back up program like "AnyDVD" (Slysoft.com) or "DVD Region + CSS FREE" and "DVDIdle Pro" from this websiteVDIdle.com
It can only copy the Undecrypted or not original DVD Movie. I tried it already and it wouldn't work with me.
That's it and that was my experience from the past till now.
You can try if you don't believe me!
