Bargain Basement Discuss, Where Can I Find some DVD+RW DL 8.5GB Media For Sale at Community forum; I searched all over google, and got lame results. Seems no one sells these online. I need them for watching big x264 files. Any Deals?

All I saw in the store from Officemax were crappy 3-pack Memorex for 6.99

Those aren't RW just DL.

RW DL technically have existed for years, however they aren't available to us.

No They were 8.5GB RW, and I also saw Sony 2 pack for 12.99 at walgreens.

I would agree with the others.

Are you sure you're not seeing the DVD+RW Alliance logo and thinking the discs are +RW DL?

Maybe they -RW instead +RW

It would be interesting to find out who is manufacturing these DL RW's? And how different burners go in writing to them... If only I lived in the US i'd be a guinea pig!

Seems they're made in Japan. By the way JVC are boasting about their new technology I'm guessing they themselves are manufacturing the media. Now to work on firmware support...
