I got the 200 gig Maxtor from Staples online for $3.90 after coupon and rebates. On Black Thursday I scored 1000 Fuji MIJ cds from KMart about $50.00+tax
I felt pretty good about how I did considering how much I spent.

Something tells me that I won't be buying any cds for a few years at least. I tried to let most of my friends know about the deal but being Thanksgiving very few of them picked any up. I cleaned out 2 KMarts to get my 1000 but there are quite a few KMarts in my neck of the woods.

Probably the 19" Widescreen Samsung LCD 940BW for $129.99 out the door, no rebates needed. The line was insane, so I decided to go to Staples first. Got everything I wanted there: DVD Burner, the Maxtor hard drive for $19.98, and some MCC004's for $2.98 AR. Back to Best Buy, and when I asked for the monitor, I was handed the 4:3 19 inch, since the 940BW was sold out.

I browsed the store for a bit, and saw a 940BW on the floor in an aisle, with a few DVD's and a USB drive. I asked the lady standing next to them in line if they were hers, and she said no, the lady who had them put them down and left a few minutes ago. Guess she didn't want to stand in line for 90 minutes to pay for them. I waited a few more minutes just to be sure, and then swapped monitors.

Afterwards, met up with my wife for a nice early lunch before picking up the kids from the grandparents. Not a bad day at all.

19" Widescreen Samsung LCD 931BW for $129.99 @ BB. As well as the $399.99 PC package deal they had. Wife needed new PC. The Philips DVP DVD Player they had for $29.99. And the Canon MP160 Printer for $19.99. Bought 4 packs of the Dynex DVDRs they had. Been doing alright for me. Burn fine and play fine in the DVD players i have.

Here's what I got on BF but it was a nightmare. I had to do quite a bit of yelling in order to get several items because of the way they herded the customers through the store. Whoever thought up that system is an idiot. Someone should get fired over that one. I spoke with the employees at another store on Saturday and they didn't have a 3 line system. Going to call the district manager Monday.

The only thing i was able to get was the 250g seagate hd from bb for $59 w/ no rebates. I really wanted the 19" widescreen monitor but they ran out and i started to get the 22" westinghouse but they were already out of those also. So only the hd

Well as stated in my other thread my 37" Westinghouse LCD was my best buy on BF (and only buy I might add). I usually avoid black friday like the plague but when I was seriously considering a $1300 price tag for the exact same set from newegg (and I had been wanting and watching this set for MONTHS), I just couldn't pass it up for $800+tax.

$1.88 DVDs at Wal- Mart. Rebates are not for me unless you have a reliable company like Staples/CC to back it up. The price out the door is the one I look at.

OMG 1000 CDRs? LOL! I thought I was overdoing it with 400 for $20.

I scored a couple of the $20 200gb Maxtors @ staples too.

Ditto here. My eyes are on the 500 gig HD. Expecting the prices to go down soon. Still the $149 current price is not bad at all.

$150 MIR....but I trust Staples rebates, they're fast and reliable...

the spec can be found right here:
http://www.maginnovision.com/product...MA-32EF1AC.htm

quite satisfied with its quality for the price that I paid
i also picked up a hdmi to dvi cable on ebay and hook it up to my desktop, the result was amazing!

i'm using it as an extended monitor right now to play all my media files.

-------------------
other thoughts:
I'm in Dallas and there's a MicroCenter in my area, I was going for the $369 Olivia 32" LCD TV deal, but after digging the threads at the fatwallet. I heard about the ghosting problem on this tv...so I went to the Staples for this one instead.

the MAG's color was kind of pale right out of the box, after tweaking the settings and even calibrating it with my Spyder...right now I'm very satisfied with its performance.

This really top buy for the best price considering hAVING 32" hdtv and at the same time having 32" monitor. Also as you have said Staples is among the best retailers when come to honor their MIR.

I bought the 32" Westinghouse HDTV for $480 at BB. Frankly the picture with regular analog cable at 420 looks very grainy when sitting up close. I have to be about 5' away from the screen for it to look decent. I get a couple of 720p and 1080i channels also and they look very nice. DVDs look nice as well.

Haven't tried it as a computer monitor yet as I'm still getting used to the Samsung 931sw 19" wide screen monitor that was on sale for $130. It seems to be best on the 1400x900 setting, which makes things a little smallish for me. With my old Philips Brilliance 21" monitor I used the 1024x768 setting. The colors are great though. Very sharp compared to that 5+ year old Philips.

A 20 pound bag of dog food that was 50% off plus I had an additional 5.00 off coupon announcing the grand opening of the new PetSmart store in town. I wasn't that excited about the deal the all three dogs were jumping for joy.
