This really is a great deal. I actually saw this on the deals forum yesterday and bought 200, should have them by Friday. I didn't know about the summer code but used the 'bensbargains10' coupon code at checkout and it worked like a charm. It actually came to $55.80 total for me with free shipping. Pretty insane deal for such awesome discs.

I'm wondering about this as well. I've read other boards and sites that recommend that shop4tech be avoided due to selling fakes. Some believe they may have cleaned up their act after establishing such a bad reputation. Do folks here trust them now?

Ive ordered from them quite a few times. Never had a single problem. I dont believe they sell fakes, I think some people get mad at the deals they get and then just pass around some bad rumors or whatever. Shop4tech, the last time I ordered this deal sold out of the 4x so to make up, they shipped me the 8x insted.

Shop4tech has sold "fakes" before but they have never sold anything identified as genuine Taiyo Yuden that was not genuine. The fakes were cheap generic media that happened to have TY media codes.

The media referred to in posts above has been real TY, the same as from Meritline and Supermedia. Usually it is TYG01 but sometimes it turns out to be TYG02.

Any time. BTW, there is some media from Meritline that is being advertised boldly as TYG02. In the find print it says "High Quality" which is the real brand. Nowhere does it say Made in Japan or Made by Taiyo Yuden. This stuff is fake but they do their best not to make it clear. Beware.

Nice deal I just ordered 100 to see what I get. Was only $25.11 after 10% referal and another 10% for the "SUMMER10" code.
