I am planning to add one drive to my BenQ 1640. Oooh....one of my fav drives, killer audio ripper in Secure Mode with EAC.
It also works beautifully in an external case with the Prolific chipset, may work well in others, haven't tried.
Don't forget to visit Liggy & Dee's firmware page.

After owning this since it first was made available @ NewEgg, the only trouble I've ever had with it, was a recent batch of Verbatim DVD+R 16x (MCC004), but that batch caused probs with ALL my drives, had to burn'em @ 8x to get decent quality...a rare miss by Verbatim.__________________
