Sears has Sony DVD+R 25 for 6.99$

I'm like tropic I'll hoard T02 as readily as the next CDFreak. So when Sears put the Sony 50pc on sell for $14.99 this week I went back to same Sears stores where I got the $6.99 25pc Sony MIJs and bought them up. So I paid a $1 more for the 50pc compared to buying 2 25pc but its still cheaper than buying from the online media stores for a 100 pcs especially if there is no free shipping.

Aaah they're on sale? I have so many T02s but I can't resist...

what's the shelf life of these dvd's?

Sony TYG03 are the best TYG03's I have, they do burn well even at 18x.

I never had TYG02

I think it is Sony TYG02. Because the 50pc cakebox has white octagon spacer.

Picked up a 25 & 50-pack of Sony DVD-R 8x's during their respective sale's.

The 50-pack had an octagon type spacer & was MIJ.

Both were SONY08D1, no TYG02.

If it's TYG02's you're really after, Rima is where I got mine.

Pretty good price, wish they offered free shipping promotions from time to time.

about two years ago my friend got TYG02 mine was SONY08D1 from best buy
( it is same I can't see any differnce with octagon spacer )
P.S I still have more than 500 disc SONY08D1 no luck for the TYG02

I find that hard to believe. If you got a pack of Sony MIJs with a White Octagonal spacer, they should have been TYs. That is surely a rare exception you ran into, because the rule always works.

I guess it's like buying a 10-pack of Verbatim DL's @ OM & getting SL's instead? (you're not the only one, happened to me more than once).

But the Sony DVD+R 8x MIJ's with Octagon spacer where indeed T02's, and I was lucky enough to find a SEAR's with a whole bunch of them in stock...^_^

Circuit City has Sony 25 pk DVD+/- R on sale for $6.99. I took the ad to Sears for PM on some Sony 25 pk DVD+R MIJs. Sears still has some MIJs around you just have to look for them.

Just could'nt pass up the opportunty for hoarding more TY02s.

The shiny silver are only 36.00 per 100 from Rima but the shipping and handling could have been about 7 or 8 bucks.

Looks as though Staples will have Sony 100 packs for $24.98 and Sony 50 packs for $14.98 starting Sunday July 22.

My Staples has plenty of the 25packs of MIJ Sonys but all the 50spindles and 100 spindles are MIT.

Anyone have any info on them. I stopped by a couple schools and asked if the had any coupons for office supply type stores. One school had a stack of 15.00 off 25.00 that expires this week. I was given 12 discount cards. I went to my car and got my Dell laptop PIIII 650Mhz with 512Ram and 40 gig drive that I bought new and like new leather case. I went back in the office and said I would like to donate this because of the generosity of sharing their coupons. The lady who gave the coupons had just walked back in a said give him some more coupons which they did.
I was offered to add me to their fleet account that gives additional discounts at the register. It sounded like a good thing, however the way it works is my credit card is associated and I have to use that credit card associated for fleet discounts. Anyone know of a prepaid visa or master card that fees are low with not so crazy restrictions. Sorry for going off tangent.
