| I was lured into Ritek DL's (under the Memorex brand) due to the cheap price. I got away with my first spindle with only a few problems, but my last spindle was %75 coasters. Very frustrating and expensive. I won't touch these again unless I hear there are marjor quality improvements with Ritek DL. |

| I saw a guy who bought Memorex over Fuji TY at Staples yeserday and Memorex costs more since it wasn't on sale but the Fuji towers were on sale and all of the towers on the front table are made in Japan. So memorex brand is very popular, ahem, to those who know nothing about optical discs

| The said truth is that if most people knew their optical media, brands/manufacturers like Memorex wouldn't exist. Even so, before I knew anything about media, I still would've picked Fuji over Memorex since Fuji just seems to be higher quality as a whole. |
