And probably close to 500 CD-Rs and I rarely even burn CD-Rs anymore. Alot of the media was very inexpensive at least, half of the DVD media was $10 per 100 or less. |

| Anyone in the market for a CD/DVD printer should head to Staples toting the 12% coupon linked earlier in this thread and check out the HP D5160. It's on sale for $79.99, and the coupon will knock $9.60 off. $70.39 + tax is a pretty sweet deal on this printer. I've read that the included software is absolute junk, though. If you're not willing to fiddle a bit with software, perhaps wait for another good deal on an Epson. |

| As much as I love HP printer, their ink is expensive. And I still have 84 Epson ink cartridges at home for my R200. Now Epson is suing 3rd party ink makers, good thing I stocked up the generic ink. But for printing, I still think HP is the way to go, just that I bought the epson because HP was not going to make any cd/dvd printer because they believe in their lightscribe tech and I guess lightscribe did not take off like the way they predicted thus they launched the DVD/CD printer. ItsRick, thats a good printer, just that I dont need one just yet.

I feel that the number of burners I have is a worse offense since I could easily get away with 1 or 2 good burners, yet I have 9 or 10 and each has an advantage so I have a hard time justifying getting rid of any of them. 5 of them cost $10 or less though so that's the good news. |

| Well, I went to Sears this evening to see if they'd do a price match. I advised the associate I had seen Best Buy's ad of Sony DVD+R's for $12.99. He said he'd check the Best Buy site. He took me back with him and allowed me to find it on the Best Buy site. He confirmed all of the details were the same, label color, 50 pack etc etc. We went back to the register area and he rung them up with an additional 10% off. Just before I was ready to swipe my credit card, he said he needed to get a card to force it through. When he asked a supervisor, the supervisor told him to make sure all of the details on each item were the same. He went back again and came back saying, "the model #'s aren't the same so we can't give you a price match." I said, "Why? This media is older (made in 2005), at a slower speed. It's clear to me customers don't come here to buy media." The supervisor disappeared so I asked him to call the supervisor back to the register. Shortly after he was notified the supervisor was in an interview and that I would have to wait up to 30 minutes. So I left. I came home and started researching Sears corporate and customer relations. After some Google searches I came up with a phone # of (847) 386-8371, called that and left a message. I'm going to complain and bitch when they call me back. The store associate was treating the media like it was a piece of electronics ("not the same model #"). I understand they're trained a certain way but c'mon, let's use common sense. I'll update everyone on what happens. I want my MIJ media damnit! |

| I swear, this bunch is a bad bad influence. Even though I have a stockpile of ~1300 blank DVD media, I'm now itching to go on a quest for the coveted 8x MIJ Sony/Yuden at Sears. You're all evil I tell you ... EVIL!!! ![]() ... must have octagonal spacers ... must have octagonal spacers ...
