Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

Running a little behind today (gotta get ready for work). I didn't have time to do seperate media, but the media tab should work. Checked it and it all looks like it works now.

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

Fyi, many of the last several weeks, I have not got a staple ad, even though thier is one (maybe they are just not allowing thier ad in the early edition paper). So check thier site tomorow for thier ad (or if someone else has access to it or at least the media, please post).

Anyone have any idea what the Office Depot 100 pack DVD+R and the OfficeMax 100 pack DVD+R brand might really be? Also the 100 pack Memorex DVD+R available at Best Buy?

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

Where are the ritek dual layer disks (long story short, I never really have time to look at the ads till after 11:00pm, and I'm to lasy tonight (tired after work)? Beleive it or not, each page only gets a few seconds consideration as to if it will be scanned or not. If splitting the page up into windows that will fit the scanner becomes problamatic, it might get 10 seconds consideration on how to split up the page (it is a long process to do this so I have to sometimes work fast).
So I was watching hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (the new one and I am not impressed) with the wife after work, so I still havent looked through the ads.
Just wondering where the dual layer is (if it is a 25 pack, forget it, if it is a 3 pack, for less than 3$ ea, might give my first dual layer disk a try? Just to lasy to search through the ads!!!

Not sure about the Memorex, although they are not 16x. Does anybody know what the Philips media are?

Huh? Ripit was replying to a question about OFFICE MAX media. So, you're saying the -R's are TYG02's? Sounds too good to be true.

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

Fuji Film ≠ Taiyo Yuden (TYG02). Fuji Film is a completely different brand of DVD -R. They are not related to Taiyo Yuden in any way whatsoever. The quality is not nearly what TYG02 is.

It is too good to be true, I think someone has a mistaken belief that Fujifilm 8x dash is automatically TYG-02. I don't believe for one minute that those Fujifilm on sale at Office Max are TYG-02.

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

Why would Office Max rebrand Fuji media that is in turn rebranded TY media? It doesn't make sense. I think what ripit meant is that the Office Max media carries a Fuji media code (FUJIFILM03). Media sold under the Fuji label can sometimes be TY. But this media is being sold under the Office Max label, which is a totally different situation...

This is exactly the fact. It is just that "code64436" phrased it better than I did.

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

I apologize profusely for causing any confusion. I guess I shouldn't post when it's late at night and I'm taking medication that makes me goofy.

I confused two different brands of media I'd picked up previously. The office max ones are indieed have the media id of FUJIFILM03.

Again sorry for the mistake.

Re: Next weeks ads (09/18/05 US)

To change the topic a little, what are the disks at office depot? Not that I totally pay attention or anything, but od disks have always been 4x ritek (that I have gotten). So now thier is 8x stuff for 30$ per 100 (not sure if its add, I work next door to an office depot). So anyway, they have great stuff on clearance at my local store. My friend got two digial scales for 5$ ea.... After seeing that, I checked it out and got a canon ip4000 printer for 40$ after 20$ rebate with full waranty, then got an aps 325? for 15$, to add to my two ageing ups's (thier were three, I got one, someone elsde got one the next day, seriouslly geting the other one if it is thier tomorow).
So anyway I was cheching for deals and saw the 30 per 100 8x od disks. Anybody know the media code, ar they still ritek?
