For English people, dabs.com has a great value optical mouse for under £20!

It turned out to be an a4tech (www.a4tech.com) RP-1535 which seems to be great value for money. Its USB/PS2 like they all are now, it came with 2X rechargeable batteries, and a cable that will charge your nokia phone, or the batteries in the mouse up off a USB port, along with a USB extension cable, which acts like an aerial (its a RF cordless one), and you really need to use it if you want to be able to use the mouse more than about 3" away from recover modal. Its only fait failing is the scroll wheel, which is a bit small and stiff. Movement and pointing precision seem to be fine as well - great value

I have posted it in the CDFreaks bargain basement if your looking for a cheap cordless optical mouse this is one, and it came with a cable so I can charge my phone off my laptop a real winner for me

That's quite cheap, but I love my new Logitech MouseMen Dual Optical,and I think a Logitech or Microsoft mouse, has just more feeling and quality, but I never tested it myself...
