Can you guys help me pick out a SATA burner?

Bargain Basement Discuss, Can you guys help me pick out a SATA burner? at Community forum; I guess I want one in the 20-25 dollar range from newegg.com. Also the ones with free shipping. I do a lot of cd burning and not too much dvd burning. Any reccomendations would be great! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For very good CD-R and DVD writing - would suggest the Pioneer 216 or a Optiarc 72xx sata model (I personally prefer the Pioneers and happen to own models from both companies)-eh!!

Yep, for CD burning, Pioneer or NEC Optiarc is the way to go.

Note, for the Optiarc, only buy the AD-7200x models. The AD-7220x models are not as good at CD burning.
