Are these audio CD-R's like the description seems to say?

No, they're regular CD-Rs that can be used for burning audio, but they're not specifically intended for audio recorders.

Audio recorder CD-Rs are usually 32x speed or slower.

negritude, do you know if they id as audio cd-r's for a standalone audio cd recorder (I have one)? It's a bit in the ATIP info, and there's also an indication in the CD logo on the face of the disk, "for consumer" or "for consumer use" or "for music use only". Thanks!
