That's $2 per disc including shipping. I don't like to pay more than $1.50 each. You should be able to do better by waiting for your local BestBuy or other B&M store to put them on sale. Also, buying locally gives you more control over what you get.

1.5$ is good for MKM001 when on sale not MKM003

u rate MKM 001 higher than MKM 003 ? thought it was other way round

That's because MKM are all MII these days and the MKM003 are MIS. Hence the reason why the MKM003s are a better investment.

even the MKM 003 sold on Newegg some time back was MII

What is the sale prices of these 15 disc spindles of MKM003 in B&M stores like BB or OM ?

Edit : just found that BB has the 5 packs in jewel cases for 9.99$ , so 15 discs would cost 29.97$ and they would surely be MIS

I've heard some reports of that but nothing that can be confirmed for sure. The only thing I can figure is that they substituted some MKM001s for MKM003s. Are we absolutely sure that they were MKM003 coded discs and MII?

All the Verb DL media I've purchased from Meritline was MII. I've resorted to buying DL media locally so I can check where it was made.

Were these 8X MKM003 or 2.4X MKM001 ?

BB's deal is way better because the discs are in jewel cases and you can see where it is made

I got five 5pack Verb ( MIS MKM003 ) from BB ( New Packaging ) Blue label
but becareful lots of disc came out from hub holder or broken hub holder
I spent 20min for exchange badly scratch disc
before you buying Shaking test first

My brother will go today or tomorrow to get me 5x5 packs too
I will tell him to shake each pack carefully for any loose discs , he knows I am crazy but people at BB may think he is crazy

does the Blue packaging Performs Badly compared to the older Orange packaging ?

Some spindles are better than older Orange packaging some spindles are not..
and I don't have much exeperience about older Orange packaging
( one 15disc and two 5pack )

My brother just got me 5x5 packs , one Orange and four Neo-Blue , all MIS

For 55.57$ inc tax though , but these are way cheaper than 2.4x 5 packs here in Egypt which are sold at Radioshack for 81.86$ per 5x5 packs , so noproblems here , but I may wait months for these to arrive

Thank you for pointing out the sale, was running very low here, I got up to my local BB, just before they closed, they had 6 packs of MIS's left...^_^

For those that are trying to find MKM001 MIS 20-packs, I hope you'll have as much luck as I did, BB had 10 of them, all MIS, the last couple of weeks thou, they had nothing but MII.
