MP3 to WMA Conversion

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes....I'm trying to convert a bunch of MP3's to WMA. I've used 2 proggies w/ the same results:

ACE-HIGH MP3 WAV WMA OGG Converter

The outputted files sound like the Chipmunks....they play very fast.

Any suggestions?

Do I need to download a new codec, if so what one?

It seems as if maybe your MP3's are 22kHz rather than 44kHz. Try encoding to lower-bitrate, 22kHz WMA's.
