| Hi, My brother-in-law sent me some MP4 videos that I want to burn to DVD. I have no idea how he created the files but I'm having some trouble with them. First when I try to play them in WMP it says that the file extension does not match the encoding and it will play sound but not video. If I open the files in VLC they play correctly and it tells me that the Stream 0 is video using an avc1 codec and Stream 1 is Audio using mp4a codec. When I try to create a DVD using Nero Express 6 and select one of these files, it gives an error message stating "Filex.mp4 does not contain any video informatin". I know basically nothing about video encoding, can someone tell me a little about this file type and how I can burn it to DVD, preferably w/out purchasing more software? Thanks! |
