Sound & video out of sync with NeroVision Express

Nero & InCD Discuss, Sound & video out of sync with NeroVision Express at Burning Software forum; I have an avi (XVID) that I burned to DVD using NeroVision Express. When I play the file in Windows Media Player it plays fine without any problems. When I played the DVD in my Sony player, the audio and video are out of sync. Is this a known problem

When you play the DVD on your computer did it play fine?

No, it was still out of sync. I have found that if I add the movie to my compilation and then export the movie to mpeg, it corrects the problem.
