Nero says file size too big for dvd disk

| Hi, I copied dvd to HDD, then opened .nrg file and tried to copy to dvd, nero says enter larger size disk.Even though file size in folder is only 3.99GB. So I tried to use dvd decrypter and it all seemed to go fine but dvd wouldnt play in dvd player. I couldnt find another program that supported .nrg files. I tried dvd2one and clone.Only dvd decrypter supported nrg files as far as I could find out. I wasted 2 dvd's. Any suggestions? I have only 1 dvd disk left, so I havnt been game to try another. I reinstalled nero because last week i had the ddrop virus, which drops files from programs. (including my virus scanner, so it didnt catch it before getting to programs) Anyway does nero has a file size reducer? I dont have the help files in nero. Thanks
