| I'm Trying to burn a DvD of a series thats complete in .avi format. The total filesize is a little over 10g for all 51 videos. My problem is when i start putting the files into Vision to convert them it raises the file size like 6 times and i'll end up needing over 17 DvD's to burn them all. is there any way to retain the smaller filesize and not loose video quality when i play it on my DvD player? thanks in advance for any input. |

| When converting to DVD the source file size means nothing, it's all about the running time. Figure about 3 hours worth of episodes per blank if you want to maintain decent quality. |

| Time to read the help/docs/guides. http://ftp6.nero.com/user_guides/ner...Vision_Eng.pdf Look at Page 117. Using the 'Super Long Play' Quality setting will allow over 5 hours of video in a project. |

| well i finally got to give it a whirl and all i did was make a coaster out of my DvD this is the last few lines of the error log [16:00:42] NeroVision Existing drivers: [16:00:42] NeroVision Registry Keys: [16:00:42] NeroVision HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs : 0 (Security Option) [16:00:42] ExpressUI Burn process failed with status 3 [17:04:05] AMCUIBase Setting 'ENU' as Nero File Dialog language i dont understand why it fails the burn : / i bet its because im using the trail version it might not actually let you make anything..... stupid crap made me waste a buck... shouldnt let you even burn the DvD if its not gonna work... and doing so does not make me wanna buy it lol. is there any decent free burning software out there that doesnt add a stupid watermark to everything?
