Newbie but...
it appears one or the other of these trimmed down versions would be ideal for me. Perhaps a little more involved on the frontend but I think I can do it. The Nero 6 Express OEM I got with my BenQ1655 doesn't have some of the detailed capabilites of the full Burning ROM product that I seem to need for a couple projects.
NOTE - I really just want to copy/burn/store data and maybe read books onto CDs for my elderly parents. I am not working with music or movies on my computer.
So - how does this Lite/Micro option work?

1) It appears this is an install package somehow sanctioned/OK'd by Ahead/Nero that allows you to tailor to a greater extent what you load onto your computer.

2) I gather I must purchase Nero product. If so...
a. Which of 10 million various Nero products? I suspect it must it be maximum/full Ultra premium version?

b. Is it better to buy as retail then use serial #; buy online use serial #; or buy at time of Lite/micro download from Nero link?

c. If I do buy a retail disc, I expect I would either never load it and just use the serial #. Or if i did load it, uninstall it then download through Lite/micro site?

3) If I buy from any of above sources will I be able to add/delete other bloat components later as I wish?

EXTRA Q's:

4) In my travels I have seen many references/applications for InCD, but I saw on this site a warning that this application is evil?

5) Nero Back it up sounds interesting. Has it not been looked at or discussed because it seems like a tack-on afterthought? Has it been voted down elsewhere and I just missed it? Or is it just that there are many other and better Free back utilities?

Thanks!
