| Multisession with nerocmd hi there, is it possible to add files/folders in separate sessions to a CD-R using nerocmd?! i want to burn e.g. folder1 today, folder2 tomorrow. I want to see both now (when disc is unclosed) and after closing the whole disc. BTW: Using the Nero GUI it is no problem. Using nerocmd i see the last session only (even after closing the disc). best regards Matthias |

| I am really looking for a solution. Current problem is (using "nero6 express") that C:\Programme\nero\Nero>c:\programme\nero\nero\nerocmd --write --tao --real --underrun_prot --close_session --drivename d --iso Test C:\Fotos\set1 leads into the following output which comes so fast - there is no real activity on the burn device: PHASE: BUP activated [i] Buffer Underrun Protection activated Checking discs PHASE: Start cache Writing to cache [i] Caching of files started PHASE: Done cache [i] Caching of files completed [i] The current process cannot be interrupted PHASE: Start write Writing to disc [i] Burn process started at 48x (7.200 KB/s) Writing Lead-in and Lead-out [i] The process can be interrupted again PHASE: Done write [i] Burn process completed successfully at 48x (7.200 KB/s) Ok. Any ideas?! Best regards mb277 |

| Sorry, I'm on holidays, like most, and I can't reproduce your problem right now using my Centrino laptop on the central coast of New South Wales. I'm talking to you over some fool's unsecured WiFi network, too! I wish the appropriate ahead guys paid more attention to our forum. If I can replicate this [your problem] in about 24 hours time I'll post again.

| Well, it works now. I found out, that nerocmd is pretty sensible whenever you have a wrong parameter. I need to avoid double-spaces between the lots of params, also the behaviour of the files/directories to burn is different between nerocmd5.5 and nerocmd6. gotta use --recursive now. And on the end i forgot to use the parameter -import (which is think also new in nero6) regarding session import and linking the sessions together. It works very well buring new and preburned cdr incrementally like this: %nerocmd% --write --real --drivename %burndevice% --import --tao --iso %cdname% --close_session --underrun_prot --import_iso_only --disable_eject %dataset% --recursive if errorlevel 26 %nerocmd% --write --real --drivename %burndevice% --tao --iso %cdname% --close_session --underrun_prot --import_iso_only --disable_eject %dataset% --recursive You see all sessions in win explorer. GREAT! best regards mb277 |
