This is just off the top off my head, but I seem to remember that you cannot burn directly from DVD Shrink with the newer Nero versions, because something in Nero was changed.

Try using DVD Shrink to create an ISO image first, and then burn the image with Nero or any other burning program capable of burning ISO images (such as ImgBurn).

Absolutely correct. Supposedly fixed in more recent releases of V7 but then I wouldn't touch that yet anyway.

You can also just let DVD Shrink create the video files in a folder you specify & then burn with Nero. This might be the better option if you're short of space or in fact the only way of doing it if you're using the FAT32 file system.

There is also a patched version of dvd shrink that can work directly with imgburn. You can read more here

http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=63869

but the best method, in my opinion, is the same suggested by DrageMester and TimC

That has been corrected with newest version of Nero 7082 & 7203 that you can rip, shrink with DVDShrink and then automatically Nero will burn the shrinked file.

The original poster is using Nero 6.6.1.4 (not Nero 7).
Do you know if this problem has been corrected in that version?

The new 6.6.1.6 might have the correction but as I don't burn this particular way I won't be testing it.
