CD-RW's wont work in cd-rw drive

I can burn cd-r's i can also reasd them, but if i insert a cd-rw disk, and burn data to it, Nero act like it is burining dats, but after burning, i will not be able to read the cd-RW disk

the cd-rw's work in other computers 100% fine, and if i use them to burn data, I am still unable to read the cd-rw in my PC

if i put the CD that i burnen on another computer, into my pc,

the cd-rw drive will act like it is reading it, the green light will keep blibking and the hard drive activity will be at a constand high for about 1 minute, then it all stops, and if i double click on the drive in mycomputer to access it, i get this error




PS i also have some services disabled through the administrator tools, and services

is there anything needed to be enabled for the cd-rw read to work?


how do i fix this problem?

Do the discs happen to be Memorex? I have had problems exactly like that with Memorex cd-rw made by Infodisc.

yep there memorex, it also happens with sony and any other cd-rw though

i just tried some 650MB sony ones and the same problem

If you've disabled the IMAPI service you might want to set it to Manual.

Also get Nero's Infotool & see what it says about the aspi drivers. Could be the system driver is not installed correctly.

Do you have Incd installed? Personally I think this is a piece c***p & would never have it on my PC. And what version of Nero are you using.

i'm using nero i think 7 ultra edition

Nero 7 is very buggy. Do you have Nero 6.6 or some other burning program to see if it still happens?

i also have winoncd 6. the other computer that worked with the cd's use nero 7 ultra edition
