1 Pass vs. 2 Pass VBR

As far as video quality is concerned, is there any significant difference between "Fast Encoding (1 Pass)" vs. "High Quality (2 Pass VBR)"?

Welcome to the CDFreaks and this forum;

That is obvious but not easily noticeable; I usually use High Quality 2 most of the time.
