LiteOn / PLDS / Sony Writer Discuss, What is the best firmwares? at CD and DVD Writers forum; I have the liteon LDW-401S DVD+RW and the liteon XJ-HD166S DVD-Rom. What are the best firmware for these two drives? If you can, provide the links to download them, thanks.

With the fsog you can set the bitsettings for booktype but not burn dvdrw+ at 2.4x,to me thats better than fsof any day.

How about for the 166s dvd-rom from Liteon? I have the DS31 firmware right now , but acccording to the links someone gave me above - the newest one is DS14. What is the newest firmware for this drive?
