Please do not use LiteOn support for any issues with these firmwares. Please post any problem you are having in the thread provided with the firmware link. This thread is for test firmware announcements only. Do not discuss new firmwares in this thread. Posts are subject to deletion without notice if they do not follow this guideline. Each announcement will have a download link, and a link to that firmware's discussion thread. Disclaimer: Obviously, there is always some risk involved when using test firmware. Even though all care will be taken to ensure the firmware is safe, LiteOn and cdfreaks, will not be held responsible for any damage or loss that may occur from the use of these firmwares.

This combination should be avoided until this problem is fixed. | Latest test firmware for the 1635S (23 May 2006): YV6N Fully supports DVDScan and fixes the OHT setting problem. Note: It appears that this firmware has issues with Jitter and TE/FE with some drives/systems. | Latest 6S test firmwares (24 May 2006): MV96 HV96 PV96 Disabling Smart Burn will disable the down speed write mechanisms of HT. OHT sometimes would down speed due to some link problem and this won't be controlled by disabling the Smart Burn setting. Disable Smart Burn setting is now saved immediately.
