TEAC DV-W524GS-100 firmware -which Liteon ?

From my few hours brand new TEAC DV-W524GSB-100 mfd August 2011
http://www.strohmedia.de/product_inf...ucts_id=491909

For everyone may interesting ,the 26-5-2010 date firmware ,backup by Liteon flash utility as first step.
TEAC_DV-W524GSB_AT11.bin http://www.zshare.net/download/9930502865ce59a6/

Some first burns did after, checked by DVD speed, looks like very well firmware, except rip speed and slow id some media.RPC1 easy made too.

Need opinion which Liteon model maybe is it as OEM ,in case crossflashing sometime.
Buffer size reported by optidrive control as 1,5MB

I think is newer model (maybe with Mediatek chipset B) from similar information found here :

Re: TEAC DV-W524GS-100 firmware -which Liteon ?

I had a look at your firmware and yes your drive (TEAC DV-W524GSB) is indeed an iHASx24 B model.

Just for the sake of clarity, given the title of the thread which is a bit missleading:

TEAC DV-W524GS (fw BT11) = iHASx24 A

TEAC DV-W524GSB (fw AT11) = iHASx24 B

Thanks for the info . Because I dont know how can change the title of the thread ,it's interesting in making a thread inside liteon thread for Teac drives info .

Another test ,comparing same crap disc CMC MAG-AM3 above burn with AD-7260S @12x

I choose this method because I think It's easier for someone not to loggin to see test results.

Hm. And many logged in users are not interested in klicking a link on a 3rd party website to see what they could normally see without any interaction

Sigma (Metro/Makro supermarket brand) MBI01RG40 @8x SB ,HT on

Other test on higher burn speed not worth, very bad results.
This DVD-R is known as crap media under most brands.

I'm sure dante96 meant to write TEAC DV-W524GSB.

TEAC DV-W524GS (fw BT11) = iHASx24 A

You cannot crossflash an A series model to a B series model.

No ... you'll need a B series drive flashed with the patched iBurnerMax firmware for that.
