TDK w/ model 241040B (Lite-On model), can I upgrade to a 32x firmware?

LiteOn / PLDS / Sony Writer Discuss, TDK w/ model 241040B (Lite-On model), can I upgrade to a 32x firmware? at CD, DVD and Blu-ray Writers forum; I didn't see the 241040B model listed in the sticky, and was wondering if anyone knew if I'd be able to upgrade this drive to a 32x model firmware. Any help would be grealy appreciated. The current firmware on the drive is 57S5.

    I will keep this short. No there is no way to upgrade the 24102B to 32x it has a different chip set than the 32x that will not allow the upgrade.

    So the 241040B is the same model at the 24102B you mentioned then I take it?

    When I look at your firmware version, yes it seems like it's a LTR-24102B = not upgradable.
