New Firmware for Sony slim DWQ58A, UYS3
stock firmware, was downloaded by MTKFLASH from my drive.
IMHO it's too fresh, OmniPatcher not find any tables...

SONY DVD RW DW-Q58A UYS3 Aug12, 2005 is not fresh, just rare . Take MCSE in the mean time, -R9 media codes are not displayed for this firmware type.

Well, yes and no.

I was hoping that this firmware might fix the problem I have in getting my SHM-165P6S to write DVD-R discs that are generally readable by other drives. For the past four days, whenever I have visited the site and clicked on the link, the same page just reloads.

I tried enabling cookings for the site (not sure why they want to leave a cookie for a firmware download...), but the same thing happens.

No problem with previous fw downloads or, today, downloading utilities...

Anyone got any suggestions?
