HT Enabled SB disabled (Only have 16x media so useless to enable this one)

Speed: 16x burn
Firmware: HV8Q

Last image is a 16x stock H07 burn for comparison to the new test firmware. Results leave me confused on what purpose HT is for since both PIE and PIF are quite a bit higher with it enabled.

You should leave SB enabled and disable OS, if that's what you intended to do with 16x media. SB == SmartBurn, OS == OverSpeed.

Oops my mistake I was misthinking when I typed.. I was thinking SB meant speed burn.. No I meant I left OS disabled.. sorry my thinking typo mistake Well second burn did better than the first did.

HT Enabled OS disabled (Only have 16x media so useless to enable this one)

Burner: SHW-165H6S
Type: DVD+R MCC 004
Speed: 16x burn
Firmware: HV8Q

I guess because of the learn strategy for every burn it tends to slow burns down. So wouldn't be wanting to normally use HT for everyday burns on good media but I don't mind helping out with the testing

Sorry, I was just joking. I'm happy to waste these discs to get the best out of OHT for DL.

If it works for +R, surely it must work for +R DL. Please keep trying.

I think there would be no much difference between MV8V and MV94, expect the algorithm of OHT for DL media.
